Songs on my iTunes

A real classic. Always reminds me of this boy I liked who was real passionate about this track. We had a lengthy convo about it. He liked the hip-hop beat on an r'n'b track. He's a hip-hop dj btw. How poignant, ah?

Dont lil kim look hot - what happend?

The best female r'n'b group ever

Records in my Mum's Shed

When my mum sent me into the shed, I thought:'fucking do it your self'. This was perhaps the only house chore paid off. I find some 80's records in there and decided to steal them. Yes I Stole form my mum. Don't act like you have'nt done it.

Nicely Dressed People

I feel a sense of commitment to show you those who share my vision - especially wardrobe wise. I guess there will be an attack the Janine clone's. So ya better prepare.

This Angela a photographer - from the female only spoken word night,'Style and Substance.' Fell in love with how she teamed Reebok Classics with her modernist dress.

Below is a girl I randomly saw in Stratford - looking uber cool. Can't remember your name (so sorry) but this chica is 15 (I know). Just could'nt get over her style. Keep it up.

I met Paris last night on the disrict line. I suffered a mini orgasm whilst eyeing up her leotard. She reckoned she got it from H&M but I think she is lying - because I have'nt seen it. Check out that necklace.

Another lady name who I can not remember but I met her at the Market Place, Oxford St. Absolutely feeling those creps.

One of my fav songs

I can listen to this song on repeat several hundred times and feel like it is the first time I have heard it.

Hitting it on the Head

Bell Hooks, what a fucking literary genius. I swear! I do believe that Out Law Culture is a must read, as it takes it from the view point of a black feminism as many mainstream feminist believe we still do not exist. She provided intellectual insight and cusses of Naomi Wolfe - I am glad some one has! And provides some real soul food for thought.

Paper Waster

What a pile of bull shit. Yep the 'Beauty Myth' by Naomi Wolfe, was a painful read at times I knew would have more fun ripping out my eyes and slitting my wrists simultaneously. Of course, by most White middle class American feminist, they believe this political viewpoint was created for them and them alone. Not once does Ms Wolfe consider how the beauty myth may affect women of color or those from working class background. She provides not insight as to how black women perceive mainstream magazines that is catered for white women with little or no representation of themselves. Thus the affect it may have upon how they feel society may view their attractiveness. Or how working class women who normally cannot afford such luxuries to make them beauty and how promoting an affluent lifestyle may impact upon them.

Pedagogy of the Oppressed

A very serious book that outline, analysis and deconstruct how the elites are and stay in power. It is not another Marxist's read that preaches to the converted, it provides practical methods of how to enlighten those who do not realized their conscious state of being oppressed. Once that is achieved - then bring on the revolution!
